What is CBD
CBD is short for Cannabidiol. It’s one of the two main compounds found in the cannabis family of plants and is most well known for its calming effects. CBD is one of 113 cannabinoids found in hemp that interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, first identified by Dr. Raphael Meshoulem at the Hebrew University in Israel.
CBD has been reported as helping to reduce stress and anxiety, manage pain, control inflammation and improve sleep. In fact, the FDA recently approved its first CBD only drug, Epidolex, for the treatment of certain types of seizures. You can learn more about how the Department of Health and Human Services differentiates between CBD and other controlled substances here.
How much CBD is in Bimble
Bimble uses 25 mg of CBD derived from full spectrum hemp in every bottle. Not only is this amount higher than most of our competitors, but every bottle also includes CBG and other cannabinoids in order to help you relax. A full spectrum CBD offers the user the benefit of the Entourage effect, allowing cannabinoids to interact with each other. This is not found in CBD isolates that many of our competitors use.
How much CBD is too much CBD
CBD’s soothing effects do not necessarily scale with the amount you consume, and drinking too much can actually reduce the effect. Everybody has their own perfect amount, and it’s important to find yours to maximize your relaxation.
How long does it take to work
You should begin to feel the effects of CBD in approximately fifteen minutes and achieve full effect within thirty.
Can I drink Bimble and drive
CBD is completely non-psychoactive and does not result in impairment so yes, there’s no reason why you can’t enjoy Bimble and drive.
Where does Bimble get its CBD from
Bimble exclusively extracts its CBD from hemp plants grown in the United States. We are sourcing our CBD from Colorado, with absolutely no Asian or European content.
