Recipe: The Bimble Float

Recipe: The Bimble Float

There is something especially good about a recipe that looks a little extravagant but takes almost no effort to make. The Bimble Float is exactly that: two scoops of ice cream, a cold pour of Bimble, and a garnish that brings the whole thing together.

For our version, we paired matcha ice cream with 5mg Cucumber Melon Lime Bimble. The matcha's earthy flavor plays beautifully with the cucumber, melon, and lime, while a sprig of rosemary adds an aromatic finish. But the idea here is meant to be played with. Choose an ice cream and Bimble pairing that sounds good to you, grab a glass you love, and build from there.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops of your favorite complementary ice cream
  • 1 can of your favorite Bimble flavor, or enough to fill the glass
  • Your favorite garnish

For our float, we used:

  • Matcha ice cream (although vanilla is always a safe fallback!)
  • 5mg Cucumber Melon Lime Bimble
  • Fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Place two generous scoops of ice cream into a cocktail glass.
  2. Slowly pour Bimble over the ice cream until the glass is filled to the rim.
  3. Finish with a garnish that complements your flavor pairing.
  4. Serve immediately with a spoon.

Notes

A coupe, goblet, or other cocktail glass makes this one especially fun to serve, but use whatever glassware gives the ice cream enough room.

Think about the garnish as part of the overall flavor profile. Rosemary worked beautifully with our matcha and Cucumber Melon Lime combination, but citrus, fresh berries, mint, basil, or another complementary ingredient can work just as well.

You can also experiment with different Bimble flavors and ice creams. The best pairing is simply one where the flavors make sense together.

Depending on the Bimble level you chose, keep the total THC in mind and select the strength that fits your own pace and experience.

Serving Suggestion

The Bimble Float is made for those moments when dessert and the drink can be the same thing. Serve it after dinner, bring it out at a summer gathering, or make a few different flavor combinations and let guests choose their own.
